Verse:
Baqarah verse 3
Translation:
(Exactly) those who have faith in the invisible (the truths which are covered and hidden from senses) and do pray and give the blessings which we provided for them, in charity.
Sura Baqare, verse 3
This verse has been descended to prophet (PH) in Medina. Tabarsi in first volume of Tafsir majma-ol-bayan narrated from Imam Reza (AS) that: ((الايمان هو التّصديق بالقلب و الاقرار باللّسان و العمل بالاركان ايمان Faith is a combination of three things: first, affirming with heart, second confessing with tongue (in speech) and third acting with body.
So anyone have problem in believe by heart is hypocrite, anyone have problem in confessing by tongue (in speech) is infidel and anyone have problem in acting is lewd. Different aspects is said for instances of Gheyb (the invisible) in this verse.
Hoseyni sha’h_abd-ol-azimi narrates 10 instances from great scholars in Tafsir athna’ ashari; including from Kamal-ol-din by Sheykh sadough that the meaning of Gheyb (the invisible) in this verse is holy Imam Zaman (AJ) who is hidden and covered from eyes. He narrates from Imam Sadeq (AS) that the meaning are the ones who become faithful to the revolution of our Qaem (Imam Zaman (AJ)) who is right.
In another Hadith from Imam (AS) about this verse, Hoseyni has written that متقین (virtuous people) are Shias of Imam Ali (AS), the meaning of Gheyb (the invisible) is hidden Imam Zaman (AJ), and its proof is the this holy verse:
فَقُلْ إِنَّمَا الْغَيْبُ لِلَّهِ. (So tell verily the Gheyb (the invisible) is for Allah).
Thaqafi tehra’ni I n Tafsir rava’n ja’vid narrated from ja’ber-ibn-e-abd-o-llah ansa’ri who has narrated from prophet (PH) about a hadith which the names of twelve Imams (AS) has been mentioned in it and the last of them is Qaem (Imam Zaman (AJ)) that he stated: ((good for the ones who do tolerate in his occultation and hang on in having affection to him. Those are the ones who God has described them in his book as the ones who become faithful to the Gheyb (the invisible), they are the party of God and they would be successful.
Virtues of Imam Zaman (Baqarah verse 3)
Verse:
Sura Al-e-emran, verse 61
Translation:
(Exactly) those who have faith in the invisible (the truths which are covered and hidden from senses) and do pray and give the blessings which we provided for them, in charity.
Sura Baqare, verse 3
Seyyed abd-ol-hoseyn tayeb in Atyab-ol-tebya’n narrated from Al-borha’n by Ibn-e-ba’booye that in a hadith which Ja’ber has narrated from prophet (PH), after mentioning 12 Imams (AS) until Mahdi (AJ) he stated:
)) طوبي للصابرين في غيبته طوبي للمقيمين علي محبّته اولئك من وصفهم اللّه في كتابه فقال «الّذين يؤمنون بالغيب ((
Good for the ones who do tolerate at the era of occultation of Mahdi (AJ), Good for the ones who stand out on having affection to him, they are the ones who God has described them in Quran and has stated: the ones who become faithful in Gheyb (the invisible). The things other than them is mentioning examples and is not in disagreement with publicity; the reason of specifying may be:
- The whole faith of believers at the occultation era is believing in Gheyb (the invisible); because they do not understand the prophet (PH) and Imams (AS) era and also their Imam (AS) is hidden and inconspicuous.
- Since Imam (AS)’s occultation, his life longitude and his being among people is unwonted having faith in him is of most powerful levels of faith.
- As confessing to Mahdi (AJ) and his occultation is one right beliefs (a religious expression) meaning that the one who confesses to him is confessor and believer of all right beliefs; so they specified it.
It may also has some other reasons.

The reports which is said to admire believers in the era of occultation of Imam Zaman (AJ) and they are a lot:
Including a report which is narrated in Beha’r-ol-anva’r, volume 13 page 136, from Ka’fi who narrated from prophet (PH) that said:
«انّ اعظم النّاس يقينا قوم يكونون في آخر الزمان لم يلحقوا النّبي صلّي اللّه عليه و آله و سلّم و حجب عنهم الحجّة فآمنوا بسواد في بياض»
(Verily the greatest people regarding certitude are the group who are in the last period of the world, has not understood prophet (PH) and their Imam (AS) is hidden; they have become believer to a blackness which is on the whiteness.
The meaning of blackness which is on the whiteness are works and reports which is narrated from prophet (PH) and Imams (AS).
Moreover, in Beha’r-ol-anva’r, volume 13 page 136, it is narrated from Ka’fi who has narrated from Imam Sajad (AS) that:
«من ثبت علي ولايتنا في غيبة قائمنا اعطاه اللّه اجر الف شهيد مثل شهداء بدر واحد»
The one who stand out on (believe to) our guardianship at the time of occultation of our Qaem (Imam Zaman (AJ)), God woiuld bestow him/her the rewards of one thousand martyrs like martyrs of Badr and Ohod (wars). And also in the same page it is narrated from Imam Sadeq (AS) that:
«من مات منكم علي هذا الامر منتظرا له کان كمن في فسطاط القائم عليه السّلام»
The one among you who dies on this matter while she/he is awaited for coming of Imam Zaman (AJ) is the same as the one who is in the tent of Qaem (Imam Zaman (AJ)) with him. In the same page, it is narrated from Imam Reza who has narrated from his pure ancestors and they narrated from prophet (PH) that has stated:
«افضل اعمال امّتي انتظار الفرج»
The best of deeds of my ummah (society) is waiting for Faraj (coming of Imam Zaman (AJ)).
And also it is written in Beha’r-ol-anva’r thatit was asked from Imam Ali (AS):
«ايّ الاعمال احبّ الي اللّه عزّ و جل قال انتظار الفرج»
Which deeds are more favored to the glorified and sublime be God?
He said: waiting for Faraj (coming of Imam Zaman (AJ)).
Moreover, in Beha’r-ol-anva’r it is narrated from Abi-hamze who has narrated from Abi-kh’led ka’boli who narrated a hadith from Ali-ibn-e-Hussain (AS) that:
Verily the people of Imam Zaman (AJ)’s occultation era who believe in his Imamate (guardianship) and are waiting for his coming, are the best people of any age since almighty God has bestowed wisdom, recognition and insight to the extent that occultation is the same as presence and seeing him to them and they, in this time, represent Moja’heds (soldiers of holy war) who fight with swords in front of prophet (PH). They are pure servants of God,, our real Shias and inviters to God’s religion, stealthy and obviously.
