Verse:

حَتّى إِذا رَأَوْا ما يُوعَدُونَ فَسَيَعْلَمُونَ مَنْ أَضْعَفُ ناصِراً وَ أَقَلُّ عَدَداً

Sura Jen, verse 24

Translation:

At length, when they see [with their own eyes] that which they are promised,- then will they know who it is that is weakest in [his] helper and least important in point of numbers. (from www.tehranloh.ir)

Explanation of the verse:

Majlesi in volumes 51 and 53 of Behar-ol-anvar, Qomi in second volume Qomi interpretation, Havizi in Noor-o-thaqaleyn interpretation have narrated from Ali-ibn-e-ibrahim about this verse that: “حَتّى إِذا رَأَوْا ما يُوعَدُونَ” (At length, when they see [with their own eyes] that which they are promised); this is the promise of seeing Qaem (AJ) and Imam Ali (AS) at recrudescence. The part of verse “فَسَيَعْلَمُونَ مَنْ أَضْعَفُ ناصِراً وَ أَقَلُّ عَدَداً “(then will they know who it is that is weakest in [his] helper and least important in point of numbers) it is the word of Imam Ali (AS) to Omar that stated: ((O the son of Sahak! Swear to God! If there was not my promise with prophet of God and my covenant with the command which has come from God, you would see which one of us is weaker regarding helper and lower regarding numbers.)) Ali-ibn-e-ibrahim told: when Prophet (PH) informed them of the issues related to recrudescence, they told: ((when will recrudescence happen?)) God stated: ((O Muhammad! قُلْ إِنْ أَدْری أَ قَریبٌ ما تُوعَدُونَ أَمْ یَجْعَلُ لَهُ رَبِّی أَمَداً (Say, “I do not know whether what you are promised will come soon or whether my Lord will grant it a period of time.) And about the verse “حَتَّی إِذا رَأَوْا ما یُوعَدُونَ فَسَیَعْلَمُونَ مَنْ أَضْعَفُ ناصِراً وَ أَقَلُّ عَدَداً” (27. “Except a messenger whom He has chosen: and then He makes a band of watchers march before him and behind him.) God gives his Prophet (PH), the reports of events before him and the events after him, which is related to Qaem (AJ), recrudescence and Judgmental day.

Koleyni in first volume of Kafi narrates that Mohammad-ibn-e-fazil told: I asked Imam Kazem (AS) about this verse “حَتّى إِذا رَأَوْا ما يُوعَدُونَ فَسَيَعْلَمُونَ مَنْ أَضْعَفُ ناصِراً وَ أَقَلُّ عَدَداً” (At length, when they see [with their own eyes] that which they are promised,- then will they know who it is that is weakest in [his] helper and least important in point of numbers) he stated: ((the meaning of this verse is Qaem (AJ) and his companions.))

Mohammad saleh-ibn-e-mohammad barghani in volume 11 of Bahr-ol-erfan va madan-ol-iman in a supplication, which is told by the holy (Imam Zaman AJ), (about the way of saying peace be upon him to Imam Zaman AJ) It is written that: “Peace be upon you O the covenant of Allah! Which he took it and he fastened it. Peace be upon you O the promise of Allah! Which he guaranteed it.”
