Verse:
وَأَمَّا ثَمُودُ فَهَدَيْنَاهُمْ فَاسْتَحَبُّوا الْعَمَىٰ عَلَى الْهُدَىٰ فَأَخَذَتْهُمْ صَاعِقَةُ الْعَذَابِ الْهُونِ بِمَا كَانُوا يَكْسِبُونَ
Sura Fosselat, verse 17
Translation:
As to the Thamud, We gave them Guidance, but they preferred blindness [of heart] to Guidance: so the stunning Punishment of humiliation seized them, because of what they had earned. (From www.tehranloh.ir)

Explanation of the verse:
It has been narrated from Imam Sadeq (AS) in volume 24 of Behar-ol-anvar by Majlesi, Tavil-ol-ayat-o-zahera interpretation by Estarabadi and Al-borhan fi tafsir-el-Quran by seyyed Hashem bahrani that stated: ((Thamud in this verse has been called to a group of Shia who like Thamud tribe, out of rebelliousness, have denied the truths of revelation.)) The lightning has been interpreted to the punishment with sword when appearing (of Imam Zaman AJ) happens. He also stated: ((ٰ فَأَخَذَتْهُمْ صَاعِقَةُ الْعَذَابِ (so the stunning Punishment of humiliation seized them) the meaning of the punishment by sword is the sword of Imam Zaman (AJ).))

سَنُرِیهِمْ آیاتِنَا فِی الْآفَاقِ وَفِی أَنفُسِهِمْ حَتَّی یتَبَینَ لَهُمْ أَنَّهُ الْحَقُ أَوَلَمْ يَكْفِ بِرَبِّكَ أَنَّهُ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ شَهِيدٌ
Sura Fosselat, verse 53
Translation:
Soon will We show them our Signs in the [furthest] regions [of the earth], and in their own souls, until it becomes manifest to them that this is the Truth. Is it not enough that thy Lord doth witness all things? (From www.tehranloh.ir)

Explanation of the verse:
Huseyni shahabd-ol-azimi in volume 11 of Tafsir athna ashari about this verse narrated from Imam Sadeq (AS), about the part “حتی یتبین لهم” (until it becomes manifest to them), that stated: ((leave it! That is the rising of Qaem (AJ).)) And also through Ershad, Sheykh mofid narrated from Imam Kazem (AS) that stated: ((in recrudescence era and in appearing (of Qaem AJ) era strange things in horizons and metamorphosis of enemies of the right will be seen; in order to it become manifested to people that the deposit and Velayat (guardianship) and appearing (of Imam AJ) is right.
Mohamad saleh-ibn-e-mohamad barghani in Bahr-ol-erfan va madan-ol-iman narrated from Imam Sadeq (AS) that stated: ((we, Imams (AS), are signs of God and obvious proofs.)) but Koleyni in 8th volume of Kafi, Majlesi in volumes 24 and 52 of Behar-ol-anvar, Estarabadi in tavil-ol-ayat-o-zahera interpretation, Arouai havizi in Noor-o-thaqaleyn interpretation and seyyed Hashem bahrani in Al-borhan fi tafsir-el-Quran have narrated from Imam Sadeq (AS) through Tayar about this verse that stated: ((the meaning (of it,) is sinking into the ground, metamorphosis and being thrown.)) I told: ((in order to it becomes obvious to them?)) he stated: ((leave this speech! The meaning of it, is the rising of Qaem (AJ).))
In volumes 51 and 52 of Behar-ol-anvar by Majlesi, volume 8 of Kafi by Koleyni, Noor-o-thaqaleyn interpretation by Arousi havizi, Al-borhan fi tafsir-el-Quran by seyyed Hashem bahrani and also Al-gheyba by Namani, it has been narrated from Abou basir that: I asked from Imam Sadeq (AS) about this verse and he stated: ((God would show them metamorphosis in themselves and narrowing down on them in the world. Consequently, they would find out the power of God in themselves and in the world. Also, “حتی یتبین لهم” (until it becomes manifest to them) means revolution of Qaem (AJ) which is a truth from the Lord, that undoubtedly people will see him.))
