The virtues of Imam zaman in the verse Al E Emran and Realizing of relationship between Quran and Mahdism

Verse:

أَ فَغَيْرَ دينِ اللهِ يَبْغُونَ وَ لَهُ أَسْلَمَ مَنْ فِي السَّماواتِ وَ الْأَرْضِ طَوْعاً وَ كَرْهاً وَ إِلَيْهِ يُرْجَعُونَ

 

Sura Al-e-emran, verse 83

 

Translation:

Do they seek other than the religion of Allah, whereas to Him submit all those in the heavens and on earth, willingly or unwilling, and to Him they will return? (from Rovad translation institute)

Explanation of the verse:

Mohsen qeraati in first volume of Noor interpretation has narrated from Imam Sadeq (AS) that he stated about this verse: ((when Qaem (AS) revolts, all of the lands will call: ((There is no deity but God; Muhammad is the messenger of God.)) this narration has also been narrated in volume 52 of Behar-ol-anvar, second volume of Ayashi interpretation and in Noor-o-thaqaleyn interpretation by Arousi havizi.

Huseyni shahabd-ol-azimi in second volume of Athna ashari interpretation by narrating from first volume of Al-borhan fi tafsir-el-Quran by Seyyed Hashem bahrani who has narrated from Ibn-e-bakir that said: I asked Ab-ol-hasan (AS) about this holy verse. He stated: ((it is revealed about Qaem (AJ). اذا خرج باليهود و النّصارى و الصّابئين و الزّنادقة و اهل الرّدّة و الكفّار فى شرق الارض و غربها فعرض عليهم الاسلام فمن اسلم طوعا امره بالصّلوة و الزّكوة و ما يؤمر به المسلم و يجب للّه عليه و من لم يسلم ضرب عنقه حتّى لا يبقى فى المشارق و المغارب احد الّا وحّد اللّه. Which means when Qaem (AJ) revolts, he will present Islam to Jews, Christians, idolaters, atheists, apostates and infidels in east and west of the earth. So anyone confesses to Islam voluntarily, he will command him/her to saying prayer, alms (which is prescribed in Islam) and what has been commanded to Muslims so God has obliged him to. And anyone who does not confess to Islam, he will cut her/his head in order not to remain anyone in east and west unless he/she becomes monotheist.))

Thaqafi Tehrani in first volume of Ravan javid interpretation has narrated some points with same content about mentioned verse from Ayashi who has narrated from Imam Sadeq (AS) that he stated: ((the meaning [of this verse] is monotheism of skies and the earth toward the exalted God.)) and it has been narrated about this verse in Majma’ from Imam Sadeq (AS) that he stated: ((the meaning of the verse is that some people admitted Islam reluctantly and some people admitted it voluntarily and with propensity.)) and Ayashi has narrated from Imam Sadeq (AS) that he stated: ((this verse is revealed about Qaem (AJ).)) and there is another narration in which Imam Sadeq (AS) recited this verse then stated: ((when Qaem (AJ) revolts, there will remain no land unless the words of affirming monotheism and prophecy will be called there.))

Majlesi in volume 52 of Behar-ol-anvar, Sheykh mofid in second volume of Al-ershad, Fazl-ibn-e-hasan-ibn-e-tabarsi in A’lam-ol-vora be-a’lam-ol-hoda and Ali-ibn-e-isa arbali in second volume of Kashf-ol-ghame fi marefat-ol-a’eme have narrated through Ail-ibn-e-aqabe who has narrated from Imam Sadeq (AS) that he stated: ((when Qaem (AJ) comes, will bring justice among people and oppression will be eradicated at his time. The roads will become safe and at his time, the earth will give out its benedictions. Qaem (AJ) will bring back any right to its owners. When he comes, all of the people on the earth will acknowledge Islam religion and this holy verse which says “وَ لَهُ أَسْلَمَ مَنْ فِی السَّماواتِ وَ الْأَرْضِ طَوْعاً وَ کَرْهاً وَ إِلَیْهِ یُرْجَعُونَ” (whereas to Him submit all those in the heavens and on earth, willingly or unwilling, and to Him they will return? (  will be meant.

Majlesi in previous mentioned book, Ayashi in first volume of his interpretation book and Arousi havizi in Noor-o-thaqaleyn interpretation have narrated from Ibn-e-bakir who said: I asked from Imam Sadeq (AS) about the interpretation of this verse “وَ لَهُ أَسْلَمَ مَنْ فِی السَّماواتِ وَ الْأَرْضِ” (whereas to Him submit all those in the heavens and on earth). Imam (AS) stated: ((this verse has been revealed about Qaem (AJ); when he revolts against Jews, Christians, Sabin (group of people who change a religion), Materialists, Apostates and infidels at east and west of the earth and will offer Islam. Anyone who admitted it willingly, he commands him/her to say prayer, pay alms (which are prescribed by Islam) and will make anything is obligatory for a Muslim, obligatory for her/ him too. And anyone who does not become Muslim, he will cut his/her head in order not to remain any atheist at east and west of the world.)) I told: may I be sacrificed for you! There are many people on the earth; how can Qaem (AJ) make all of them Muslim or cut their head? He stated: ((when God determines something, he will increase the few and decrease the much.))

Majlesi and Ayashi in previous mentioned books, narrated from Imam Baqer (AS) that he stated: ((there is an absence for Imam Mahdi (AJ) in some of these valleys; then pointed to Zi-tova (a olace around Mecca) with his hand, until two nights before advent a friend who is at his presence and his service comes and meets some of Imam’s companions.)) Then Imam Baqer (AS) stated: ((it is as if I am looking at them who are three hundred and ten men and some other people while they are ascending Najaf which is near Kufa and their hearts are firm like pieces of iron. … Imam Mahdi (AJ) will send them to far places and will touch between their shoulders and chests; so they will not become desolate and impotent in any judgment. And there would remain no place unless there will be this call:  There is no deity but God, he is unique and has no sharer and Muhammad (PH) is the messenger of God. And this is the very word of God: “وَ لَهُ أَسْلَمَ مَنْ فِی السَّماواتِ وَ الْأَرْضِ” (whereas to Him submit all those in the heavens and on earth) and the owner of this issue, the same as not accepting جزیه (Jeziye) (lieu of conversion to Islam) by Prophet of God (PH), will not accept (Jeziye).))

Majlesi in volume 53 of Behar-ol-anvar has narrated from Imam Ali (AS) that he stated: ((the caller in holy Ramadan month, at the moment of sunrise, calls from east: ((O guided people! do gather!)) and, at the moment of sunset, from west calls: ((O guided people! do gather!)) and tomorrow, at noon, after eclipse when then sun is black and dark, will repeat this call. At third day, by exiting the creature of the earth, the right and void will be distinguished and Rome (people of Rome) will come to the city which is beside the sea, at youths’ (Ashab-el-kahf; i.e. seven men who appealed to a cave and God made them to sleep there for years) cave and God will resurrect those youths from their cave to them (people of Rome). One of the youths is a man who is called Malika and the other is Kemselmina. These two are witness and surrender to Qaem (AJ). He will send one the two youths to Rome and he will not be successful to do anything and he will send the other who will come back victoriously; that day is the interpretation of this verse: “وَ لَهُ أَسْلَمَ مَنْ فِی السَّماواتِ وَ الْأَرْضِ” (whereas to Him submit all those in the heavens and on earth).
