Alienation of Quran :
Anything should be in its main place in order to play its role; otherwise, it is in loneliness. Quran also, like any other affair, if does not have its real role and original and effective place in society, becomes alienated and misses its function; although apparently is noted by the public.
Quran as the most important divine book, which is the scientific charter of Muslims, if only be paid attention at the reading and reciting level and be piled up with the dust of forgetfulness, such Quran, is separated and alienated and according to narrations, Quran will complain about you at judgmental day.
Imam Ali (AS) in wise saying 369 have predicted such an age of alienation for Islam and Quran and stated:
((there will happen a period to people in which among them there would not remain something else than costume and some writings from Quran and not something else than a name from Islam. At that time, their mosques are prosperous structurally but they are ruined from guidance viewpoint!))
About the Quran’s and Islam’s alienation, which proof is evident than the fact that people make places of worship with splendid architecture but do not train a prayer! the places for public prayer increases but (people to operate) prayer decreases! the Quranic meetings and the programs of Tartil (reading Quran with good rhythm) and reading increases but the religious culture in practice and in society, weakens. The Quranic fervor be high but the Quranic common sense be rare.
Imam (AS) in sermon 17 complains about the people who live ignorantly and die with deviation to God and characterizes them as so:
((among them, no commodity is more slump and lusterless than Quran; when it is read with having eminence (and along with practice) and no commodity is more booming and expensive than Quran; when it is agonized from its (original) place.))
It means that the fine and pledging culture is not such paid attention and caught on, but if deflective contents is said from the tongue of Quran or it is settled for apparent promotion, it would have plenty of customers and becomes popular. Is this something else than alienation and obsolesce of Quran?
Alienation of Quran
Imam Ali (AS) in sermon 147, gives report of a future full of alienation for Quran and religious values and states:
((soon after me, there will come a time to you in which nothing will be more hidden than the Right and nothing will be more obvious than the Void and there will be nothing more than defamation of God and his Prophet (PH) and to the people of that time, no commodity will be more slump than Quran, when it is really read, and nothing will be more common and with plenty of customers than it, when it becomes deviated from its original place, and in cities and villages nothing will be more unknown than good (deeds) and nothing will be more known than evil (deeds). The knowers of Quran out it aside and the scholars of Quran pretend to forget it and the followers of Quran are rejected and secluded.))
Imam Ali (AS) in wise saying 228 has mentioned the ones who read Quran and die while they go to the hell, as the gibers of Quran. This is again being, in a way, kind of alienation for Quran to be only in the mouth of some people and read them but their deeds are against Quran and guidance of revelation. The alienation of Quran among its (apparently) followers!
He, in letter 47, drew up a will: ((lest others outdistance you in operating Quran.)) it is a way to change Quran from alienation condition among Muslims.
And in sermon 86, he invites people to guard Quran and its rules which is another way of bringing Quran to stage and removing obsolesce from the verses of God:
((O people! Swear you to God! Swear you to God! In what he has entrusted you to maintain the rules of his book.))
